Charlie heads the US Taxation practice in Hong Kong and Shanghai and is the recognized expert in his field in this part of the world. With almost 30 years experience advising international and US companies and individuals on special issues relating to setting up new businesses in China and Hong Kong, and expanding existing businesses to the China mainland, Charlie provides practical solutions for his clients. His involvement in pre-IPO restructuring, Mergers & Acquisitions deal structuring and other business tax advisory projects, has established his leadership in those fields..

Charlie is a member of the American Bar Association (Taxation) and the New York State Bar Association (Taxation). He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, a fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Chairman of the International Fiscal Association and a member of the Hong Kong SAR Joint Liaison Committee on Taxation.
